About Us

Rally is run entirely by volunteers, many of whom are retired and are generous in donating their time to this great cause.

We are not part of any organization and are nondenominational.

We only operate from a converted and upgraded Eurobodalla Council  Fire Service shed in Tomakin NSW, for which the Council charges us a small rental.

The money we make, save for the small amount we need to run the place, goes to Sydney Childrens Hospital Foundation for research into childhood cancer.
We give an occasional donation to Moruya Hospital Oncology Ward, to purchase equipment they need.

How did we get to this point, click below to read the history of Rally.

Rally for Recovery
The volunteers at Tomakin,
Every cent goes to the cause.
Of rally for recovery,
With hardly ever a pause.
The scientists they try,
To find the very cure.
That will stop cancer in its tracks,
For ones so innocent and pure.
Your help is needed,
In a very simple way.
Buy something at the garage sale
To bring on “The Happy Day.”
When cancer can be cured,
For the children of this land.
With smiles upon the faces
Of little ones, so grand.
No more sad eyes or mournful looks,
Or acceptance of a fate.
It can be cured, with YOUR help,
Donate, Donate, Donate.
When children leave the hospital,
Their hair is growing back.
You will know that you have helped,
In the cancer attack.
The day will come, man will find a cure,
Of that there is no doubt.
But the road is long and hard,
Before man turns this blight about.
